Match report

Hedon 6- 2 Preston

The game was at Hedon. It was 11 aside and we had 17 players so we had lots of substitutes on and off. 

Samuel played very well in defence because he stopped all of the attackers from scoring and his brother Luke (Y5) was fantastic in goal because he dived and saved a lot of goals including a penalty. 

In the first half, Luke scored and it was 2-1 to Preston at half time. Mrs Parsons told us to look up at who we were passing to, meet the ball and be a bit stronger in the second half.

In the second half, Luke(Y6) scored another goal and even broke the crossbar with the powerful shot. 

Goals also came from Noah(Y5), Noah (Y6), Josh (Y6) and Jaydon (Y6).

There were lots of players who had never played a football match before and they did really well. Everyone in the team got stuck in and passed the ball a lot. In our opinion, our player of the match was Luke (Y6) because he was great in attack.

Mrs Parsons also wanted to give a special mention to Callum and Harry D who have both improved their game massively. Well done to all!
